Emilia Di Martino has an MA in Foreign Languages and Cultures (Istituto Universitario Orientale/Università di Napoli L’Orientale, 1988), an MA in Education (University of East Anglia, 2003), and a PhD in English for Special Purposes (Università di Napoli Federico II, 2006).
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a Member of the Associazione Italiana di Anglistica, European Society for Translation Studies, European Society for the Study of English, International Society for the Linguistics of English, International Association for Translation and Intercultural Studies, European Society for Translation Studies.
She sits on the advisory panel for New Voices in Translation Studies and Translation and Interpreting, and on the scientific board of Echo (Aracne).
She is Associate Professor of English Language and Translation (Università di Napoli Suor Orsola Benincasa).
She has published numerous articles and volume publications, and has presented at many local and international conferences.
