Lars Bernaerts teaches Dutch literature at Ghent University. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher (Flemish Research Fund, UGent) and he taught literary theory at the Free University of Brussels. His main research activitities are situated in the fields of experimental fiction, modern Dutch & Flemish literature, narratology, stylistics and cognitive literary studies. In the domain of literary translation studies, his interest is in the translation of experimental literature and in stylistic and narrative aspects.
